Venue and date
The annual CSMP workshop was held in Plockton, Scotland, at the Plockton Hotel from September 28 to October 2, 2009. Plockton is a small village on the west coast of Scotland, just across the Isle of Skye. Some impressions can be found here.
Travel information
Nearest airports are Glasgow International and Edinburgh International, which are served by all major airlines and many low-cost carriers. From their you can either hire a car and take the extremely scenic drive along Loch Lomond, Glen Coe, and past Ben Nevis up to Plockton (4.5 hours from Edinburgh, 4 hours from Glasgow) or take the train, which has limited connections, however. Programme
We focused on reactive transport modelling, multi-phase flow simulations,solving coupled matrices, CSMP version 6, with breakout sessions for beginners, intermediate, and advanced users. The complete programme and talks can be downloaded here.
